What happens in a session?
We begin with a discussion of your problem and especially your goals and the resources you need to reach these. During this discussion, you will be asked to reflect on your thoughts and feelings, so that you are able to see them in a different light and thus benefit from this new viewpoint.
After our discussion I will ask about your experience with hypnosis and answer any questions you may have. I will then put you into a state of hypnosis, where I can communicate with you on a subconscious level, where the resources you need are to be found. We will then go through the change process best suited to you and I will make suggestions about the goals which we have discussed, to which you are more receptive in trance.
Next I will guide you use your imagination to experience how your situation is different once you have the resources you need to overcome your difficulty. I then bring you out of hypnosis and we talk a little about your experience.
Depending on your specific problem, it may be more relevant to use NLP tools in a “waking state” i.e. not in hypnosis. The change process can also be carried out by merely closing your eyes, so you better imagine what we are talking about. We will discuss which will be the most effective approach for you and which will suit you best, in the session.
It is important for us both that you are motivated to create change and willing to look at yourself in a loving and forgiving way, because you want something different from what you have had until now. This will give the best results.
